Thank you so much! When I was in Ireland, I was crazy about their farmland. It was several months later, I realized that we have the same farmland here in MN. Ha. Helen
Good morning, and thank you, Lois. West and east coast are more exciting, but Midwest has its charm (in my opinion 😉 Sadly, we lost a lot of farmland to new housing, new business buildings… Have to enjoy them when I can 😉 Helen
Good morning, Ruth. Thank you for your comment. Farmland always attracts me – maybe because the color green or just simply watching something grow? I don’t really know. I just like them. Have a great day! Helen
Thanks, Cee. We waited for 15 minutes for the sunset and that was a cold day. As soon as we took several photos, we hurried back to our warm car 😉 Helen
Very nice images. The subtle rolling hills of the midwest always seemed so beautiful to us in our many cross-country road trips. Your images here do them justice, very well done.
Oh, your comment brings a big smile to my face. Even though I do enjoy visiting NY city or San Francisco , I always love to come home to Midwest 😉 Thank you! Helen
The color of the first shot is amazing ~ with the trees and field, and the second shot (my favorite) is great because the ‘terrace effect’ of the fields remind me so much of home. Cheers!
My home town is Eastern Oregon (Pendleton), farming and ranching… Green in the spring, and then golden from summer through autumn. Hang my hat in HK and Seattle, so when I get a chance to head back ‘home’ it is a great feeling…and I am off to home tomorrow 🙂
Wonderful photos, Helen! Farming is beautiful!

Thanks, Amy. I love farm land. We often drive around just to look at them. Maybe it’s the green color. I don’t know. I just love it. Helen

Ugh. I know what you mean. Every time I see trees coming down, I know something concrete and steel is going up. Sad. Very, very sad.
