Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Joints and/or Things You Enjoy

V and her playmate

V and her playmate

Grandpa is her playmate. There is a natural connection between the two.

I would like to clean up the background, making it lighter or darker, but it’s not as easy as I thought. 😉

As I go through your photos from the past, I see several I already viewed, and others that are new. This is a new one for me and I like the facial expressions you captured; the intentness on the child’s face, and the somewhat apprehensive look on the grandfather’s. I also like your comments on the actual photography part. I learn so much from them; you said you would like to have made it lighter or darker, and now in today’s post you are talking about light!!!! What I find interesting in this photo is the contrast between the little girl building in a traditional male way, and the girly princess background. (I recall learning that girls normally build in circles and boys with towers. It is a simple fact. )

I love you, Carol! It’s so fun to read old post. Now that I have learned more about Photoshop, I think I can do better job with the background ;-). The little girl is 7 and her grandpa recently moved into a nursing home. How we wish we could all stay at a certain age…
      Have a great day.
