I can almost hear the sound of the Loon. Although they might not dwell in the location where you took the picture, it brought back fond memories of my peaceful time on a lake.

    Lovely,

Blue is one of my favorite colors. I just got a call from my daughter, it is 7:23 in the morning here, and I was worried she needed me to babysit!!! Instead she had a question about a recipe. What a relief, because, as much as I love the grandchildren, it is getting harder and harder for me to take care of them for long periods of time. I feel so lazy, just enjoying your blue blog post, instead of working!!!

Good morning, Carol. Your comment made me smile. Long time ago, one of my friends asked the other friend’s mom to babysit for her for free. I asked her if that was a good idea since the lady was 80+ year old. My friend said, “I am doing her a favor. She is bored during the day.” Maybe that’s why I keep making sure that I am not bored no matter what. Ha. Don’t get me wrong. I love kids. I really do. But I just can’t keep up with them like I used to.
      Have a wonderful day.

As I go through your older posts, my computer very nicely has the dates I already viewed in a different color!!! Otherwise I would not remember where I stopped. I see here that I responded to your blue in 2015 about babysitting. Now it is 2018 and another child has been added to the mix! I am babysitting more than ever, but it is now picking up kids from their schools. They are so thrilled to see me that it makes up for the hassle of the two hour trip to get there from my house.

Wow, two hour trip! One way?
Still, I envy you. I love playing with kids. From time to time, I have to borrow neighbor’s kids… Ha ha.
      Have a great day.

My daughter lives an hour away, but the freeways and bridges here are clogged at any time of day, so I take a train. The two hours is me getting to the station, then waiting, and then walking to her house from the station. It is one hour if no traffic in a car. Two hours door to door with the train. But the train is so relaxing, I can read on it. I have been staying overnight so it seems less onerous.
