Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Buildings
Assisi Heights Convent is a 3-story Italian Romanesque building, the home of the Sisters of St. Francis. You can see the red roof from distance. I was told that those roof tiles came from Italy, and after so many years they only have a few tiles left.
Since I am not sure the above photo fits the description of the challenge (even though it does have roof, wall, but it “may” not show you most of the building.), here is a photo of a house we took in our French trip. How I wish the car wasn’t in the picture.
Good Wednesday morning, Helen! The first one is majestic, great composition! I like the second one, you captured the contrast of the old house and a modern car!

Good morning, Amy. I think the modern car had ruined the scene 😉 But we took what we could get. Thanks. Helen

Yes, we do… And, now these day, we have to deal with power lines when taking pictures 😦

Thanks, Pike. Assisi Heights is my favorite building in town. It’s always peaceful there. And people are very nice. Helen

I almost added a 120′ pole barn to my entry, but it is so long and small I chose not too. So I would say your first shot definitely counts as a building. 🙂 Great entry Helen.

Thanks, Cee. I often try to look for Assisi Heights wherever I am. It’s high up there; it’s like Heaven. 😉 Helen

Hi Helen, the Assisi Heights seems gorgeous, have you been inside? The house photo is interesting, when I looked at it I only saw the trees, so exquisite.

Good morning, Elizabeth. When I started writing many years ago, a sister (Sister?) in Assisi Heights helped me with English. I also took a calligraphy class there and attended a couple of concerts there. It’s nice inside too. I should go and take some photos, now that you mentioned 😉 Have a wonderful day! Helen

That is a grand house. I’m with you on the car, but there is software that would allow you to edit it out.

Trust me, if I have the skill (Photoshop skill) to remove that car, I would. Maybe later when I am getting better with the tool. 😉 Helen
