Street Photography

We have 3 days to finish our last assignment for Writing 101. So today I thought I would post a couple of pictures I took at a local concert. Again, I appreciate any constructive feedback you can give me.

These are wonderful. I love the first one, especially with the girl and then the person in back holding their ears. Perfection.

Thanks, Cee. It took a while to get a good photo of the first girl. She was running around a lot. And I didn’t even see the woman behind until I looked at the photo later.
The second picture, I think, looks better if I flipped, and cropped. See, I did learn something. I start thinking “flip” now. 😉

Only flip if it looks good to you. Sometimes flipping just doesn’t work. And with you reading in both directions your eye will be unique and that is what you need to remember.
Regarding the first shot, isn’t if fun when the background really enhances the subject of your photo and you didn’t even realize it until you see it on your computer 🙂

I actually like the flipped one better, but I flipped the B&W and I want to post color one, and I was ready to go out (or something like that.) 😉 The whole flipping thing is very interesting to me.
Yes, it was a nice surprise when I saw the woman in the picture. Had I noticed her before, I would take a photo of her too. I looked and looked, and didn’t find many “ideal” targets…
          Thanks.

Good morning, Lynne. Thank you for your comment. I’ve converted the second photo to B&W, and liked it too. But I just love the richness of her hair color, so at the end, the color photo won.
I feel it’s nice if I can give the photo to the person. Do you have the same feeling? (I don’t know who they are, so I won’t. But I just wish I could give the photo to the person.)
