This is my submission for Amy’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #47: Five Elements. And five elements are: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth.
We had too many rainy days. Staring at the wet table on the deck — which is on earth, I thought maybe I could squeeze 5 elements in one photo ;-).
Not sure how much I like the above photo, so I drop a couple of elements.
Thanks to Amy for having this interesting challenge.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
All in one picture looks great, Helen! You are smart and managed well!

Thank you, Raj. It can be better for sure. I had given some thoughts on how to improve it, but it it was raining and I didn’t want my camera to get too wet. Oh well…
I love your photos. I like to read others’ posts first, and then work on mine, and then go back to comment on other people’s posts, but a lot of time, before I could go back to make a comment, the next challenge was out. I guess I am just too slow nowadays. ;-(
Good night.

You are not lazy; I know about you. You always give good deep thoughts before you post the pictures, unlike most people who throw anything at these photo challenges. There should be something special in every post we do, not interested in a snapshot post. Good morning to you!

Thanks, Raj. Your comment brought a smile to my face.
“I think, therefore I am.” ;-).
Have a wonderful day.

Squeeze 5 elements in one photo, how clever! The raindrop is really cool.
Thank you for joining in, Helen!

Thank you, Amy. Clever? I am not sure. I was trying to show how much fun I have with all these challenges. Ha.
Have a wonderful time-off, Amy. (I think you are taking some time off, right? I don’t keep up with time as well as before.)

Visually, I like the second photo better. It is always great to see one of your interpretations of a challenge. We have had nothing but grey fog for days on end, and it is really getting to me.

Thanks, Carol. I, too, like the second one better. I was thinking maybe I needed a different candle, but I didn’t want to wet my camera any longer. For some reason, that bird is difficult to photo for me. I had tried a couple of times before and didn’t like the result. This time I told myself “no matter what” 😉 One thing I like about it is that it looks like the bird is blowing the candle.
Have a wonderful day.
