Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Time to Relax

This is my submission for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Time to Relax. Please follow the link to read Amy’s post.

For me, time-to-relax means: go see mountains.

Time-to-relax means: go sit by a water fall, a lake, an ocean, a river…

Time-to-relax means: stop and smell a flower or take care of flower plants.

Cooking, cleaning house, eating dinner with friends … Wait a second, it seems like I have been relaxed most of the time, if not all the time…

Time-to-relax means: retiring 😉

Thanks for visiting my blog.

  1. Oh what a fabulous cake! I agree with most of your relaxation techniques but definitely not house cleaning 😮

I definitely agree with you in all of the above. From what I hear, Helen, retiring is too much work to find time to relax 🙂 Have a great day.

Thanks, Perpetua. I retired in 2013, so I am familiar with life after retiring. When people say retiring is too much work, they mean too much fun, I am sure 😉 I am busy, but I am doing what I like to do and I am doing it without any deadline. Life is good.
      Have a great day.

Great photos! I love the water falls! I think I start freelancing when you start retirement. My mom always says I am retired too, but I don’t think so because I still need to meet deadlines. And when I am not working, household chores will take up my time.

Thanks for your comment. Hmm… I don’t remember cleaning my house before I retired. I think when you start enjoying doing household chores, you are truly retired 😉
      Have a wonderful day.

  7. I’m with you with the mountains. Are they the Rocky Mountains? Congrats on your retirement but you might be in for a shock – I am busier now than when I was working.

I love the mountains too. There is something about being surrounded by giant formations – I find it calming and awe inspiring. Great collection of photos Helen. I wish I could find cleaning relaxing and not so frustrating…I find I ask myself ‘didn’t I just do this last week??’ Haha. Have a great day.

I still have to push myself to do the housework, even though I’m retired. 🙂 🙂 Here comes a cloudy day so no excuse! Enjoy your trip, Helen 🙂
