Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Wonder

This is my submission for Lens-Artists Photo Challenge: Wonder. Lens-Artists Photo Challenge is a new photo challenge. Please feel free to follow the link to learn more about it.

Patti Moed said, “The theme for this week’s Lens-Artists Photo Challenge is Wonder. We invite you to create a post that captures a moment, a feeling, a place, a person—which filled you with wonder.”

Everything is a wonder, when we see through children’s eyes.

  1. Given your love, you are hearing from me: the boy jumping into the water is a wonderful image and yes the world is a wonder in the uncluttered mind of a child

Thank you, Abrie. I think if I didn’t have a camera in my hand, and I wore boots, I probably would step into the puddle, joining that boy. He was in it for a couple of minutes, and he made it look so fun.
      Have a great day.

Really like the last shot, Helen. Very creative and candid one. Looks like the girl might have wanted to have a bit of fun in that cardboard box. Also like how the light is softly falling over her head and body slightly shaded…gives me the impression she might want to hide from the world 🙂

Thanks, Mabel. She played with that box for at least 5 minutes. I told her mother that I would give her a new box as a Christmas gift 😉
I don’t think I had done anything similar at that age. For one, I don’t think I had seen a box that big when I was little 😉
      Have a great day.

Thank you, Manja. She (my great niece) knows how to live in the present for sure! Every time I visit them, she and her brother would keep all of us (her parents and me) busy for several hours 😉
      Have a great day.

  13. Yes kids have a special wonder at the world around them. I wish we could retain it as adults and we might look after it a bit better. Beautiful photos.

Thank you, Irene. I agree. I wish we could retain it, but at the same time I wonder if we really lost it. One time, many years ago, my sister invited several friends to her house. My niece decided to sit under the dining table (you couldn’t see her because of the tablecloth). I agreed to join her. It was a fun experience until my sister calling my name and I had to crawl out. Ha.
      Have a great day.
