One Word Photo Challenge: Child

One Word Photo Challenge (hosted by Jennifer Nichole Wells) : Child

We came back from D.C. three days ago, and I noticed this photo challenge. I have never participated Jennifer’s challenge before, but the theme of child brings a smile to my face.

The last photo was just for fun. K drools a lot. First, it wasn’t easy for me to chase him around and focus on one tiny drop of drool. Then, in order to get the light effect that I wanted, I had to shoot from a certain angle (before he moved). So I chased him; I circled around him… I am pleased with how it turned out (and I was exhausted). 😉

That last shot is brilliant, Helen. Your running around efforts paid off, and I’m guessing you didn’t mind being exhausted 😀 Kids these days can be so energetic and it is hard to keep up with them. But looks like you can. Well done.

  8. Hahaha. “I was exhausted”, I like this. It’s so much fun with kids, they make you remember our own childhood. They are excellent shots, Helen. And since you had to work so hard to get the light effect, makes for an interesting shots. 🙂

Hi Helen, I got the photo that you edited. Very cool! Thank you for showing me what could be done. Sorry for being late, I don’t check the gmail often at all, and it not even on my iPhone. Thank you, again. 🙂

  16. Getting a nice sharp image of a toddler is a Herculean task, he he 🙂

First image is just perfect, the innocent smile on the kid’s face, the hat, light and shadows on his face… beautiful capture 🙂
