This is the 4th day of my Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge. You can find the challenge rules from my first day’s post Here.
I would like to invite Lori at Let There be Peace to join the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge. If we can have one wish comes true, one wish only, I am sure many of us would choose “peace on earth”. Lori’s blog name grabbed me the second I visited her blog. I like her sense of humor (read her about page ;-). I think you’ll like it, too.
About the photo… I just started playing with filters in Photoshop lately and as you can see, I am having a lot of fun. Photocopy filter is used for this picture.
Now, the story…
Potty training our kids is one thing that we, parents, would never forget. During that critical time, we educate them, encourage them, support them, and, sometime, even bribe them. We are their cheerleaders around the clock. “Yeah, you did it!”, “Good girl (boy)!”, “You are the smartest!”… We say these phrases over and over to them. They’re the right words to say at that particular moment, we have no doubt.
One day inside of a crowded lady’s room, I heard the sound of clapping hands, followed by a loud, clear, cheerful little girl’s voice. “Yeah, Mom, you did it! Good mom!”
Go mom! 😀 😀

Thanks, Sarah. There was a split second that I was wondering if this was the reason we had kids – to keep us straight… Ha.

Potty training is BIG conversation amongst the children. especially with the adult children. They talk how adult looking the two year old appears to be for whatever that means. It’s hilarious listening to them. Great photo finish, Helen.

No. Most of us didn’t know what to do 😉 When they came out, the woman didn’t look at any of us. No one said a word. 😉
