Cee’s Black & White Challenge: Weather
The first photo was taken in San Francisco. It was a cold and wet night, but we didn’t mind because the street looked pretty. The second photo was taken at Bay-Water-house at Chesapeake bay. Everyone went inside, leaving their shoes by the door.
That is a cool capture of the beautiful SF street, Helen! I also like the reflections.

Thanks, Amy. I would like it to be sharper (like your photo 😉 But I’m okay with what I got. It’s an iPhone 6 photo since I didn’t want my camera to get wet ;-). Helen

Thank you, Helen. Do you use Google photo? It allows users to do some basic enhancements, and it’s free 🙂 I store my photos in the Google photo.

Amy, I don’t use google photo. If I remember right you have used other photo editing program on phone too, right? I really envy you for being able to learn all those apps so quickly and use them so efficiently!!! Helen

I downloaded a few apps for iPhone. I didn’t spend time to learn to use. I searched on iTune, picked the one has four stars, and just played it with my finger; they made it soo easy.

I especially like the one of The Streets of San Francisco.

Thanks, Dawn. I like it too. I am still debating if I like the color one better or black and white better. Sometime, it is so hard to tell. 😉 Helen

Sandals in such wet weather. 😛
Beautiful shot of the rain after dark. Is almost like a fantasy land.

Thanks, Ruth. The sandals shot actually was requested by my sister, who wanted a picture of those shoes 😉 Helen

Hi Helen, you had a great idea for taking the photos of the shoes.

Both of these photos Helen are fun. The shoes because of the sandal that has Hollister on it. And I like the lighting on the street photo. 🙂

I like both photos, but I prefer the one with shoes because it piques my curiosity. Who do the little shoes belong to? Why is there only one that says “Holister” and what could that possibly refer to? Is the turned over shoe the mate to Holister? Why is everyone wearing sandals in the rain? (no need for answers, unless you want to)

Good morning, Carol. It was summer time and it’s water front property; we went in and out a lot. Wearing flip-flop seems easier. 😉 Helen

Thanks, Rommel. Your kind words mean a lot to me. I know I am not a great photographer. As long as I can use my passion of photographing to do something good for the society, I will be happy. And I am getting close … 😉 Helen

Tree, anyone can make that shot if he is at that spot 😉 Still, thanks.
I read more about the 3 day walk — participator has to come up with a certain amount of fund raising, which makes me nervous. I guess I will support you instead ;-( Helen

Yes..the fund raising requirement tends to scare a lot of people. Our team works together at fund raising. If we get individual donations we keep them, otherwise we split all fund raising events equally. That makes it much less scary. If you change your mind let me know and I will help you in any way you need! Otherwise I will always accept your support of my walk 🙂
