Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: The Color Yellow
It is hard for me to enjoy an abstract painting. If I don’t understand it, how am I going to decide if I like it or not? That was what I thought…
Recently I’ve learned that, sometime, not knowing is better than knowing. 😉
I don’t know, but I love it! Looks like someone speeding by in the car and then..snap! snap!

Thank you!!!! Actually, I set shutter speed a little longer (I think I set 1/10 second), and while pressing (or after pressing?) the shutter-release button, I moved the camera up and down for the first photo and left to right for the second one. It was for my workshop assignment. I like to stare at them. 😉 Helen

Pretty and I like abstract as each of us sees something different. I see a rain shower of yellow roses petals falling to the ground over my head.

Thanks, Amy. But… all I have done was following the instruction I was given 😉 It was a fun exercise. Helen

I like the first one best for some reason. It looks like it’s raining yellow.

Thanks, Sue. Like I told Tree, my instructor liked the first one better too (because there is a sense of movement, I think that was what he said ;-). Helen

Thanks, Pam. See my response to loisajay. It’s quite simple, actually. But it did take me a couple of tries because depends on how fast you move the camera, the picture can be ugly too. 😉 Helen

Hi Helen, I love abstract art, because they can be what I want. These photos are gorgeous, I imagine yellow flowers in a windy day!

Thanks, Elizabeth. You are right that they can be whatever we want 😉 I will remember that. Thanks. Helen

Very nice–the second one leans toward impressionism.

I’m no better off than you at ‘getting it’ but I know I like these. That’s what matters, right?
